Free Coloring Page for Plant and Flower Enthusiasts

Is your house full of flowers and plants? If so, this is the right coloring page for you! If you don’t care for flowers, the finished page could also be the perfect birthday card for someone who loves plants.

I’m not really a flower person, but I absolutely love drawing them, as you can probably tell. They are fun to color too, whether you use realistic colors or completely bizarre color combinations.

How to make your coloring pages more interesting

When it comes to coloring a coloring page, you don’t have to feel restricted. If you think the background is too boring, you can try adding something extra to it.

Patterns
For example, this coloring page has walls and a tablecloth that have no patterns on them. You could try drawing a simple pattern, like flowers or shapes, to make them more interesting!

Highlights
One of my favorite things to add to my artwork is highlights. When I color digitally, I create a new layer on top and set it to luminosity or overlay. For traditional art, I use either a white colored pencil, gel pens, or white acrylic paint.

Textures
When I colored this coloring page, I decided to try coloring different textures. The window frame has a wood texture, and the shelves that the plants are sitting on have a texture that resembles marble.
